Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) – smooth’s deep scars and stimulates collagen growth
Retin-A – softens fine lines and moderate wrinkles

Chemical peel treatments are designed to target a wide variety of skin concerns. A few benefits of receiving regular chemical peels are:

- Reduction in the appearance of dark spots

The VI Peel does not burn! You may experience slight warmness and tingling in the beginning, but this should quickly subside. Besides the warmness and tingling, VI Peel treatments are virtually painless. Your provider will address your comfort levels during your treatment to ensure your experience is as comfortable as possible.
Immediately after the peel, your skin may look slightly tan and glowy. You will not look much different and should be okay going about your regular daily routine.
The number of sessions depends on your targeted skin concern. For overall rejuvenation, a series of three treatments is a good starting point. Depending on which peel is recommended for your unique skincare needs, you can have one as frequently as every two weeks.
VI Peel treatments are not recommended for women who are pregnant or nursing.
To ensure proper healing, we encourage patients to observe a set of post-care instructions for a specific period of time. Amongst these instructions are:
- Avoid retinoids and products with active ingredients.
- Stay away from direct sun exposure.
- Wear sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher, daily.
- Avoid exercise, sweating, and activities that induce heat for 72 hours minimum post treatment.
